FRESNO BETSUIN BUDDHIST TEMPLE

Part of an extended development of a site featuring a family center also designed by the architects, this sanctuary supports formal Buddhist worship service for a Japanese sangha with a long history in the community. The temple structure also contains a columbarian, and has been enriched with decorative architectural fragments derived from the first temple built in the early 20th century.
